Windsurfing gear tests
Since I wanted to try and set up the JP Magic Wave Pro also as a Quad, I decided to buy a pair of K4 Leon SS fins, and Scorcher Rear SS. In this article, I will tell you my impressions on the board behavior with these fins.

From a couple of months, we have had in our hands the Goya Banzai X Pro 2018, the 4 battens powerwave sail of the famous american brand. It is a sail with a strong personality, and with an almost freestyle soul. In this article, we share our impressions.

Marco Quattrina, a Gardesan rider, had the chance to carefully test the Helix V1 and V2 boards, the Simmer freewave model. Simmer is growing a lot in the performance of the board in its catalogue, and this objective review by Marco gives us some confirmation in this regard.

Also this year, the March-April issue of the well-known French magazine Windmag is dedicated to tests of the new 2018 windsurf boards and sails of the leading brands. In this, and in subsequent articles, we will provide a summary, with some insights offered by the magazine about these products. Let's start with the freestylewave 2018 boards.

The range of wave boards is getting wider and wider, with lots of thruster and quad boards, and with shapes suitable for different sea and wind conditions, as well as for riders of different level. Once again, with the help of the French magazine Windmag, we briefly review the 2017 models of major brands, and some custom boards too.

Having to replace my windsurfing harness, Dakine T8, I took the opportunity to try a Ride Engine model. The choice fell on the Ride Engine Lyte V1, in the Direct Connection version. Here is the test result.
