Valencia Mar played host to the first event of the 2023 Algebris 69F Cup, an open circuit for the one-design, foiling monohull for crew. Seven teams from five nations competed over four days and twenty races, battling challenging conditions that ranged from light wind and flat water to strong breeze and chops.

The summer is coming to an end, but along with some friends, we went to get it back in Sicily last week end. From 25 to 29 September 2014, we went to sail around the beautiful Egadi islands, just off the coast of Trapani.

My first challeging boat was a 470. It's a very technical and glorious dinghy, today still an Olympic class, able to teach much to those who want to better understand how to conduct a performing sailing dinghy. But not only. The 470 is a boat that has much to teach even those who, then, want to navigate with cabin cruisers.

Although Waterwind, at the time, is more oriented to the world of windsurfing, we decided to dedicate some space to sailing, and, in particular, to dinghies (but not only: we also like greater boats!).
