Windsurfers are crazy. And I'm one of them. This was clearly shown by my last trip to Cannes Palm Beach (France), on Sunday, December 21st.
The Engadine is a guarantee! In a time, when ready tracks in the Alps are still few, for lack of snow, the Swiss valley gave us a beautiful day of cross-country skiing between Sils and Silvaplana.

Valmadrera is one of the most popular spots of Como Lake. It's a spot that works with winds from the north: the Tivano, early in the morning, or the so called Foehn, which, if conditions are right, can blow at any time of the day.
For Sunday, August 12, the wind forecast maps, gave Sud Foehn, and so we took the opportunity, together with other friends, for our usual and pleasant August surfing trip at Lake Silvaplana, in Engadin (Switzerland). Mission accomplished!

At least once, in the summer, I absolutely must stay at Camping Maloja in Engadin, Switzerland, one of the most beautiful campsites in the world. If I can also match it with two days of windsurfing on Lake Silvaplana, the trip becomes simply perfect.
