Playa de Razo, near A Coruña in Galicia, Spain, was a truly wonderful discovery, not only as a surfing spot, but also for its stunning scenery and nearly perfect logistics. The nearby Malpica spot is also worth considering.

Sagres is a small village in Portugal, near the southwestern tip of Europe, that dives in the Atlantic Ocean: Cabo de Sao Vicente. It has a very special atmosphere, and offers some very nice spots for surfing.
Sardinia offers some of the best quality waves in the Mediterranean sea. Recently, I had the opportunity to explore and try the surf spots of Sinis area, in the province of Oristano.
