Another memorable day of trekking in the Seriana Valley, in the Orobie Alps: from Valbondione, we climbed to the Coca Refuge and Lake Coca; we then crossed to the Curò Hut, before returning to Valbondione, completing a long but stunning loop.

The Grassi Hut, in the upper Biandino Valley, has always fascinated me. After 30 years, I returned there, with a challenging trek, starting from Introbio, in Valsassina. This time, too, the destination did not disappoint me.
Val di Mello is a naturalistic and landscape jewel. It is a side valley of Val Masino, in Valtellina, and is famous for its granite rock walls, and for the natural pools formed by the Mello torrent. We returned to discover its beauty, with a very pleasant excursion.
An easy walk in the Vila Valley, a side valley of the Pustertal, very rewarding from a landscape point of view, and which allows you to reach the magnificent Lercher Alm.
There are days in life that are, undoubtedly, more beautiful and engaging than others .... A day spent climbing on the via ferrata that leads to the top of the Croda Rossa di Sesto (Rotwand spitz), in Sud Tyrol, is one of these.

I had been looking at the Sassongher peak for some time, during my family holidays in Badia Valley (Gadertal). Finally, I found a way to climb this peak in the Dolomites, which is relatively easy but offers an exceptional panorama.
