Still forced to stay at the beach by back pain, longing to meet again some friends, yesterday afternoon I went to Gera Lario (Lake Como), to take some pictures while they where enjoying a light breva.
Cannes is a very interesting spot, both for logistics at the beach, and for conditions offered when you ride in the water, that are proper for freeriding or waveriding, depending on the intensity and direction of the wind. The landscape is also charming
For many riders, a normal forward or back loop is, already, a desired goal. Other windsurfers have more ambition, and then to observe young champion Loick Lesauvage's technique for push loop can offer many insights.
On Sunday and Monday (12 - 13 feb 2017), for our first time, we went to try the spot of Cannes (France). E/NE wind at 30 knots on Sunday, and even stronger on Monday. We liked the spot, that made us feel new (strong) emotions.
For those who are going to choose Fuerteventura as a destination for the upcoming windsurfing holiday, and would like to go to the North in search of waves, there are some things that it is better to know, in order not to be disappointed and to take advantage of the incredible conditions that the island may offer.

Watching champions or talented windsurfers can be very useful. Analyzing their movements, you can "steal" some secret, and some trick, to perform at best some maneuvers (although achieving their level is almost impossible, for most of us). So, let's study together, the fast tack and the power jibe performed by the young French talent Loick Lesauvage - F780.
It was just a bit of time that I did not ride in Northern Italy Lakes. After lots of session at sea spots during these last months, it was good to be back on Garda Lake, to enjoy a 25 kts Peler at Prà de la Fam. Season on Garda Lake has already begun!
Riccardo Marca, young italian freestyler from Riccione, wrote to us, to share his last clips, filmed in Brasil. It's a pleasure for Waterwind to help young talented windsurfers to let people know their ability and last performances. Here you have Riccardo's words.
La Coudouliere (Six-Four Les Plages, South France) is one of the best renowned wave spots in Europe. On 14th of January 2017, NW wind up to 40 knots blew over the spot. I was there, and I could admire the young French talent, Loick Lesauvage (F780), only 16 year old, performing a show under my eyes. Also other very experienced riders in the spot.
La Rabina, at Imperia (Liguria), is a great spot that works with both winds from East/North East, and from South West. Very convenient logistics, and pleasant scenery. In addition, out of season, the area around the spot is quiet, and you can enjoy your session in complete relax.
