For some time, I had been willing to discover Lake Arpy, located between Morgex and La Thuile, in the Aosta Valley. I took advantage of a beautiful autumn day to reach the lake—and, more importantly, Punta della Croce at 2,480 meters—which offered a unique point of view, facing Mont Blanc.
The coast of Sardinia north of Isola Rossa is amazing. Red granite cliffs, sculpted by the sea and the wind, create dramatic and unique landscapes. Starting from Costa Paradiso, we explored the area with a beautiful coastal walk as far as Cala Tinnari, passing by Cala Li Cossi.
The surf spot of Marinedda, in the municipality of Isola Rossa, Sardinia, turned out to be a truly great discovery. I recently tried out the spot, and here is a guide/review of the location.
Finally, after this long, hot summer, a weather front arrived and the Mistral wind returned. We didn't think twice about it: we headed to Sardinia to get back to some proper waveriding on the North Shore, enjoying a fantastic day of windsurfing at the Cala Pischina spot.

Crero is a spot, located on the Veronese shore of Lake Garda, in the municipality of Torri del Benaco, a few kilometers south of Malcesine. It can offer epic windsurfing sessions with very strong Peler/Foehn, and lake waves of significant size.
