Grazie Ale. Ho passato le ultime sere della settimana scorsa, a rivedere i livestreams del giorno prima.
Forse le condizioni migliori di vento e di onda le hanno beccate nei quarti.
Comunque, è stato un bello spettacolo, per condizioni e bravura dei riders anche nelle semifinali e finali.

Morgan Noireaux ha vinto con merito, anche se il livello è stato altissimo anche da parte degli altri finalisti (Campello, Brawzinho, e Rodiger). Ci vuole anche la fortuna di trovare l'onda giusta. Anche Marc Parè ha vinto con merito il campionato, avendo ottenuto ottimi risultati in quasi tutti gli eventi.

E per le donne Sarah Quita Offringa sembra intramontabile!

Mi è solo venuta ancora più voglia di surfare al più presto onde serie, e provare anche qualche trick, anche a rischio di qualche sano wipe-out!

Siamo arrivati alle battute finali dell'Aloha Classic 2025.

Per quanto riguarda gli uomini, oggi si disputeranno le semifinali e la finale .
Si prospetta un bello spettacolo, essendo arrivati a questo turno riders fortissimi. La seconda semifinale vedrà atleti del calibro di Rodiger, Campello, Brawzinho, ed Antoine Martin. Nell'altra, Marc Parè (che se va in finale, vince anche il campionato mondiale 2025), Noireaux, Takuma Sugi, e l'eterno Swift.

Io sto seguendo le gare rivedendomi le registrazioni su YouTube (qui day 3) , visto che ci sono 12 ore di fuso.....

Ieri, Campello show, e Parè che ha fatto una Air Tacka da urlo. Peccato per Federico Morisio, che ha sofferto di un calo di vento nella sua Heat, che non ha consentito di prendere molte onde. 
Ma è stata una condizione penalizzante per tutti quella della Heat.

Ed infine congratulazioni a Sammy Ferraro ITA-505 arrivato terzo nella categoria U21, alla sua prima partecipazione all'Aloha Classic!!!!

Perfect trade-wind conditions returned to Ho‘okipa today for Day 2 of the 2025 Aloha Classic Grand Final, delivering a full day of 5 Star competition as both the men’s and women’s draws charged toward Finals Day.

Men Battle Through to the Final Eight

The men’s division pushed through a marathon sequence – from Round 5 Redemption to the Round of 24, Quarterfinals, and down to the Top 8.
Former champions and rising stars all threw down huge scores in building Ho‘okipa surf. Bernd Roediger, Marcilio Browne, Ricardo Campello, and Antoine Martin all advanced, alongside Morgan Noireaux, Takuma Sugi, Marc Paré Rico, and Robby Swift – a Finals Day lineup worthy of the sport’s ultimate stage.Roediger’s fluid lines and power again earned one of the day’s highest totals, while Browne’s precision and Marc’s explosive aerials made clear that the world title race remains wide open heading into the final showdown.

Women

The women hit the water for the first time today, launching their Round 1 Seeding Heats before moving straight through to Round 2 Redemption.World No. 1 Sarah-Quita Offringa looked as polished as ever, advancing with power and style. Pauline Katz impressed with clean execution and fast rail work, while Shawna Cropas put on standout performances in the strong afternoon wind. Each won their first round heats.

Finals Day Tomorrow

With both the men’s and women’s top 8 locked in, attention now turns to Finals Day, where the 2025 World Wave Champions will be crowned live on the World Wave Tour broadcast.Don’t miss a single moment – tune in tomorrow to watch the sport’s biggest names battle for glory in the world’s most prestigious wave-riding event.

PRO JUNIORS (U21): Japan’s Ryu Noguchi Leads a New Global Era

In the highly prestigious Pro Junior (U21) division, Japan’s Ryu Noguchi (J-39, Starboard/Severne) emerged victorious after a dramatic final showdown with Gregory Stathopoulos (GRE-73, Goya). Noguchi’s clean vertical turns and confident rail work earned him an 8.27 heat total to seal the win.

The podium reflected a true global spread, with Gregory Stathopoulos (GRE-73, Goya) in second, Samuele Ferraro (ITA-505, Patrik) in third and Jake Ghiretti (AUS-99, Severne) in 4th. The U21 category continues to serve as the elite gateway to the professional tour, and this year’s performances proved the depth of upcoming talent is stronger than ever.
