We spent a day in paradise. The Capanna Gambarogno, in the Canton Ticino, Switzerland, reached with a simple hike from Alpe di Neggia, reminded us, in these difficult times, how magnificent our planet still is, and how so many people are still committed to protecting and enhancing it!

The northern part of Lake Maggiore, in the Canton Ticino, has much to offer, and in the future we plan to further explore this land between the lake and the mountains. On Sunday, September 28, 2025, we took advantage of a magnificent sunny day, in this early autumn, with perfect visibility, to reach the Capanna Gambarogno and enjoy a breathtaking view from an incredible balcony.
