Just to add that Carro (France) will be good today and on Sunday. Only from Monday, it seems that the wind will veer to much from the North.

Coudouliere, on fire.

And also Cannes and Saint Raphael will deliver some W/NW wind on Saturday, and Sunday.

Hang Loose. Fabio

Today's update ....
Roll up your sleeves, because there will be work to do ...

Predictions I made yesterday substantially confirmed. Let's just hope that Central-Southern Italy does not face the flood.
In detail...
Coudouliere (France), good from Friday and Monday. Temperature around 10 degrees, but with sunshine. Water around 17 degrees! Coudou, better than the Carro, for wind direction and wind constancy (at Carro is too far from the North).
Libeccio, SW, in Liguria on Saturday, but it is not yet known the period of the day during which the wind will blow exactly, and the duration. We will have to wait for the update of the models tomorrow, and perhaps even Saturday morning.

For the other areas, there isn't much to add. For Sardinia, I confirm Chia. For the Sinis, too much from the West. La Ciaccia should be good on Friday and Saturday.
In Sicily, good Puzziteddu on Saturday and Sunday, albeit with rain showers ....

Lower Tirrenian sea, good Friday and Sunday (with rain).

For the Lakes of Como and Garda, a Foehn day on Sunday afternoon seems to be looming, on Lake Como. The Foehn disturbs the wind on Lake Garda, but since Sun will shine, a nice Balì/Peler could still blow from the north. Wind from the north on the lakes of Como and Garda will continue on Monday.

If you have suggestions about specific spots, you are welcome.

It seems that the Atlantic door is about to open ....

This post will not contain detailed forecasts (we are still waiting for some updates), but it serves to put everyone on alert, because it seems that something big is coming (albeit with a little rain).

On Friday the Mistral / West will arrive, which will blow from southern France, to Sardinia, and down to the lower Tyrrhenian sea, and Sicily. And it will raise a lot of waves .... And with rotations sometimes from the West, sometimes from the North, it will continue for several days (even beyond the weekend).

As for the possible destinations, La Coudouliere, Carro, and Leucate (France) looks very good on Friday (while from Sunday it seems that there will be a rotation from the North (at least at Coudou and Carro), with very strong and cold winds ...).
We hope for the South West scheduled for Saturday in western Liguria, hoping that it will not be exaggerated (and short lasting, as some models suggest).

Then, Sardinia and Sicily on fire..... As for Sardinia, which I know best, I would point out Sinis area and also Chia, as interesting spots. Chia could give beautiful waves, and side off wind, for several days.

On the Tyrrhenian Sea, it seems mostly WSW, and it will be necessary to find spots where the wind is not too much onshore. If anyone has any suggestions, write here.

Unfortunately, except for France (Fri-Sun) and Liguria (Saturday), a lot of rain seems to be expected, which in addition to the annoyance at the beach, could also make the wind unstable during the days. But it's almost winter time .... We have to accept it.

For the Garda and Como lakes, it is still a bit early for detailed forecasts, but the hopes are mainly aimed at Sunday, when it could blow foehn wind in the afternoon over Lake Como, and continuation on Monday (with falling temperatures), and North wind over Garda (Sunday).

Update in the coming days, here or in other specific discussions.

Hello. Fabio
