The 2021 windsurfing season started with a series of winter storms at Lake Garda, Italy. Today, 9 January, at Pra' de la fam, we enjoyed Peler wind at 35 knots, with fully winter weather conditions.

Also this time, Federico Morisio (I-676), sends us from Sardinia images of windsurfing, sea and waves, which really make us dream. Funtana Meiga, Maimoni and Porto Corallo are the fantastic wave spots scoured on this "chasing the storm" tour.

Point 7 has just launched 2021 windsurfing gear collection. A great effort has been made to develop Foil sails, in particular, considering the growing success of this discipline, with some interesting hybrid models, also. But lots of testing has carried out on wave and freestyle products to get even better performances. We report here Point 7 intro to new collection.

For the third year in a row, we have returned to Brandon Bay; we have fallen in love with Ireland for the splendid wind and wave conditions it offers, and in particular Brandon bay is an excellent destination for windsurfing, for "waveriding", and surfing, especially in autumn!!

I really wanted it. After the controversial last Ligurian weekend, I came to cure myself at Lake Garda. The therapy worked. The Pra' de la fam, today, gave 3 hours of Peler at over 30 knots and a finger-licking windsurfing session....
The Goya Guru is the 4 batten wave sail from the Hawaiian brand of windsurfing equipment. It is referred to as "Control wave", comparing it to Goya other 4 battens sail, the Banzai, defined as "Power wave" sail. After reviewing the 2020/2021 Guru model, we also had the opportunity to test the 2018 version.
The Point 7 Slash is the freestyle model of the Italian brand of windsurfing sails. It is the sail which Yentel Caers won the PWA freestyle championship with. Alessandro, in this article, tells us his impressions on this sail.
For beginners, rigging a windsurf sail and preparing the board as best as possible, evaluating the result obtained, is an operation full of unknowns. I knew that I would also have to take the 80 liters board and the 3.7 sail with me. What a beautiful wind blast at Pra 'de la Fam, the mythical and our beloved spot on Lake Garda. This morning we enjoyed a windsurfing session full power, with a bit capricious wind, initially, but which, from 10.00 onwards, turned out really nice.

A vacation day spent just very well! On Friday, excellent Peler right for a 4.2 at Pra' de la Fam, and sufficient Ora wind at Pier in Riva del Garda. Nice day of windsurfing to ease the tension due to the mess of everyday life .....
